I thought IPSY had forgotten about me this month. My Glam Bag was almost a week later than usual, but when it came it was definitely worth the wait.IPSY Glam Bag Review: November 2017

For those of you that are new to IPSY, it is a beauty bag subscription for just $10 a month. Each month they send you 5 products, both full size and deluxe samples, personalized to you based on how your filled out their beauty survey. It’s a really great way to build your makeup arsenal and try new brands/products for really cheap. From  my experience the bags’ average retail value is about $55. Plus, every month they send your products in a (usually) cute makeup bag. Want to join the club? Sign up here.

Here’s what I got…

Naked Cosmetics Eye shadow – Mother Nature #06

IPSY Glam Bag Review: November 2017

I have mixed feelings about this eye shadow. It is a really pretty color that can be easily swiped across your lid for one second elegance. Plus it can be layered for a wide range of colors. However, it is a loose powder which makes it rather messy. And for long lasting results it has to be worn over a primer. I was happy it was a full size products though. Buy it Here

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush in Feisty

IPSY Glam Bag Review: November 2017

This is an old favorite in a new color. I have a couple of these and I LOVE the formula. It has clay in it which helps it absorb any extra oil, and it literally lasts All. Day. Long. This blush comes in 15+ shades which are a really pigmented and layer well. I got the shade Feisty, which is a coraly pink from IPSY and I love it. This was a deluxe sample, but a very generous size. Crown Brushes C141 Small Chisel Brush

IPSY Glam Bag Review: November 2017

This is a really great brush for blush, powder, or even a soft contour. I was really happy that this didn’t have synthetic bristles as I feel like the natural ones blend everything a little better. Overall I was really pleased with this brush and if you are in the market for a nice brush for a really decent price, check this one out here.

Manna Kadar Lip Stain in All Of You

IPSY Glam Bag Review: November 2017

This lip stain was the biggest disapointment of my glam bag. IPSY gave subscriber one of two shades All of you,(what IPSY called the perfect nude, but I consider a weird purply pink) and Pinot Noir, which as the name suggest is red wine color. I have been wearing red lipstick a lot more often as winter approaches so I was really hoping to receive the latter. Alas no. As I mentioned before the color I got didn’t look good on my skin at all. And since I didn’t like the shade I didn’t wear it long enough to see if wears well. Too bad it’s not a better color because it’s a pretty big sample.

Too Faced Hangover 3in1 Primer Setting Spray

IPSY Glam Bag Review: November 2017

Setting spray is a rather new thing with me, but this has every other one I’ve tried beaten. Too Faced’s Hangover spray makes your makeup last forever without leaving a residue or highlighting any dry patches. I’m not a huge fan of spray primers, but if your into that then this is a great option. My only complaint with this product is the sample size. It is about the size of my pinky and only holds enough products for a couple uses. =( Will definitely be getting more of this soon. Check it out here.

I was really pleased with the mix of products this month. One product for eye, lips, cheeks, and skin plus a brush to apply them with.
